Shawn is the founder and Chief Creative Officer of Creative Relay Media, and the creative force behind Runway to Oshkosh: Flight Rules. He hosts the Future in Flight Podcast, produced in partnership with AviNation USA Magazine, and built this series from the ground up — route planning, partner strategy, and the story itself.
Shawn grew up in an aviation family — his grandfather and father both flew, and some of his earliest memories are family trips in a Cessna 182 and a Cherokee 6/300. That early love of flight carried into his career: as a storyteller, voice talent, and marketing strategist with more than a decade in broadcasting, content creation, and brand development, Shawn has lent his voice to campaigns for companies including Honda Generators and Republic Airways through his work at SUN 'n FUN Radio, and built the Future in Flight Podcast into a show connecting listeners' passion for aviation with real-world careers and opportunities.
Before aviation and media became his full-time focus, Shawn spent more than a decade in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, corrective exercise specialist, and gym owner — work that shaped the same philosophy driving his storytelling today: helping people push past what's holding them back toward what's possible. Outside of work, he's an avid traveler, fisherman, and paddleboarder, with certifications in disaster preparedness and response.
